ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 carat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 500 on Saturday, when it was sold for Rs. 219,300 as opposed to Rs. 219,800 on the previous trading day. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs. 429 to Rs. 188,014 from Rs. 188,443, while the cost of 10 grams of 22 carat gold dropped to Rs. 172,347 from Rs. 172,740. Silver's price per tola and per ten grams stayed unchanged at Rs. 2,650 and Rs. 2,271.94, respectively. According to the Association, the price of gold dropped by $2 to $2,072 on the global market from $.2,074.
